About SSC
This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-and-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
SSC Constable Notification
Candidates those who are looking for SSC Recruitment notification need to fulfill the below qualification and recruitment process.
Education Qualification
Candidate should have completed 12th pass to apply. If Sons / Daughters belong to Ex-servicemen, they can apply with 11th pass.
Age Limit:
- Minimum 21 years and maximum 25 years.
- OBC, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B Candidates: 3 Years
- SC, ST Candidates: 5 Years
NCC Holders will have granted at the below scale:

SSC Exam Pattern
The SSC exam pattern is Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) followed by the Medical Examination of the recommended candidates. CBE will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will consist of one objective type multiple choice paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with the following composition:

Note: Most importantly, there will be negative marks of 0.25 for each wrong answer. Hence, all Candidates are advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
Minimum Cut-off Marks (Normalized):
- Unreserved: 35
- SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS: 30
- ESM: 25
Candidates will be shortlisted category-wise on the basis of their merit / marks scored in the Computer Based Examination (CBE) for appearing in PE&MT.
The number of candidates shortlisted for PE&MT based on their CBE merit will be approximately 12 times (1:12) the number of vacancies.

SSC Admission to Examination
All Candidates should carry the Admission Certificate (Hall Ticket/ Admit card) while attending the Computer Based Exam. Also, it is mandatory to carry two recent passport size photographs and original valid Photo ID proof containing Date of Birth as per the Admit Card.

- Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar
- Voter’s ID Card
- Driving License
- PAN Card
- Passport
- ID Card issued by University/ College/ School
- Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU)

- Any other photo bearing valid ID card issued by Central/ State Government
