Department Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Cloud Excellence Team. In this role, you will be responsible for building well-modeled UI components and robust backend services that support Motorola Solutions’ cloud-based solutions. Your contributions will help deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient systems that drive our public safety and enterprise solutions.
Full Stack Developer Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Develop and maintain back-end services using Python, Node.js, or other relevant languages.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to create user–friendly and efficient applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well–documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team’s continuous improvement efforts.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies and trends within the software development landscape.
Full Stack Developer Basic Requirements
Qualifications:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or equivalent degree) with 0-2 years of experience in full stack development.
- Strong understanding of backend languages such as Python, Java, and/or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of front-end development principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with common web development frameworks and libraries.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong level of curiosity and interest to learn.
Optionality:
- Interested in AI/ML particularly in chatbot development
- Experience working in a cloud environment like AWS, Azure or GCP
- Knowledge of any design tools such as sigma is a plus
