ITBP Telecommunication Recruitment 2024: The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has launched a recruitment drive for eligible candidates to join as Sub-Inspector, Head Constable, and Constable in the Telecommunication department. ITBP Telecommunication Posts Educational Qualification
The educational qualifications for the ITBP recruitment differ based on the position:
- Sub-Inspector (Telecom): Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in specific science fields, such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Information Technology, or Electronics. A B.E. in Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields is also acceptable.
- For the Head Constable (Telecom) position, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Alternatively, candidates who have passed 10th grade and possess relevant ITI certificates or Diplomas in fields such as Electronics, Communication, or Electrical are also eligible to apply.
- For the Constable position, candidates must have completed matriculation or an equivalent qualification. The ITBP will give preference to candidates with ITI certificates or Diplomas in related technical fields.
Age Limit:
The age limits for the ITBP recruitment are as follows:
- Sub-Inspector (Telecom): 20-25 years
- Head Constable (Telecom): 18-25 years
- Constable (Telecom): 18-23 years

ITBP SI, HC and Constable Selection Process
The ITBP recruitment process consists of several stages that candidates must complete. It begins with the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Finally, the ITBP prepares a merit list based on the overall performance of all candidates.
Application Fee
The ITBPF charges an application fee of ₹200 for the Sub-Inspector post and ₹100 for the Head Constable and Constable posts. However, SC/ST candidates, Ex-servicemen, and all female applicants are exempt from paying the fee.
